It WAS painted...

After spending the afternoon and some of the evening yesterday painting the wood sides and bottom for our trailer (I promise...you'll get the FULL story of the trailer when it's all done!) THIS is what happens when you finish...and not more than 30 minutes later, there's a DOWNPOUR! (Which lasted for quite a while!)

Luckily, it's just one piece that has to be redone! Yes, I know the color is kind of puky - what do you expect for $15 Walmart Stain? We just wanted to protect the wood, it's not a piece of fine furniture! hehe (Though...when it's time to paint again...I'll be picking a DIFFERENT color! Would you believe that the name of this color is "cedar?" Hmmmm...)

Anyway...my next painting project is the front door and shutters. I'm thinking a RED of some sort. What do you think? I should take a POLL..in fact I will. Watch for another post to gather YOUR ideas for color! :)
