Tales of the flu

This flu just won't quit and loosen it's grip on me! I'm still laid-up with it since early Saturday morning and I've gone to see my doctor to get some relief or at least keep it from getting worse.
She's got me out of work until next Wednesday when I can return and also gave me a prescription for my cough/congestion called Benzonatate . It seems to be helping for now, but has a side effect of making me (even more) drowsy than I am; especially since I have such little energy to anything.

For now and thru the next 5 days, the doctor's orders are rest, rest and more rest. Tell that to Ryan, Megan and Mommy who are doing their best to put up with me and this flu. We can only continue to hope and pray that none of them get it since they were the ones that got flu shots this season. I won't pass it up next season, I can promise you that! :-(
