"Bapples" for the horses

What do you do when you have apples that have been in the fridge WAY too long?

Feed them to the horses!

Luckily, it was a quick walk to the horse farm on the next street. It has just started to sprinkle as we were walking. (Now it's sleeting, and we had sunshine earlier in the day!)

Dad was the lucky one to feed the apples to the three horses (dressed in their winter coats) that dared come to the fence. His coat is now in the dryer because one of them "spooged" all over it! (Yuck!)

Megan just took it all in.

It was a quick trip as the wind started to pick up, so we hurried home where it was warm!

PS - speaking of cold - as I post this our neighbors and all their grown up kids across the street are walking down the street to the beach. Most likely for a "dip" in the water. It's a strange custom out here, but people actually enjoy jumping into the frigid water on New Years Day! (You couldn't pay me to do that!)

PPS - as predicted, Ric is on the couch with his Twilight Zone Marathon! (He is nice enough to offer to change the channel when I come in the room though!)
