Ode to our Neon

Goodbye Neon, goodbye.

Since 1995 you have been a trusted friend.

You brought two "celestial sistah's" across the country in style.

You didn't complain when someone smashed tomatoes on you in Bay Ridge.

Though you "gave up the clutch" under the Brooklyn Bridge (and then again in North Providence,) you were still reliable. (Thank goodness for extended warranties!)

You became the "take dad to work" mobile when mom had to graduate to a mini van.

I had you from just 23 small miles, until the very end at 135,244 - who knew that we'd be together for so long?

But times change, kids just don't work inside a little thing like you. No more will we have to drive with our 'butts' dragging on the ground!

So long....Audrey...so long! :)
